2. To fell the giants in life, we need a practical faith in the living God. David didn't just have a generic, "I believe for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows" kind of faith. He didn't have faith in faith itself. He didn't buy into the common notion, "It doesn't matter what you believe, just so you believe.".''Giants'' are problems, pressures, pains, and persecutions we will have to face from time to time in our lives.
